I had this same problem with the 2002 version, where FS panel would erase windows that were not in seqencial numbers. There was a fix applied and it worked great. I'm having the same problem in 2004. After I save the panel, some windows are erased from the panel file. Any updates??

Can you provide a panel.cfg that illustrates this problem? Please email to support@fspanelstudio.com

According to the Microsoft SDK, panel.cfg Windows must be numbered sequentially, starting with 0 with no breaks. The SDK states that FS will stop reading windows after encountering a break, although this is not the case for FS2004.

FS Panel Studio will check for one skipped Window, but otherwise follows the SDK. It was felt the best to implement the published Microsoft docs in case Microsoft decides to follow it's own rules at some point.

If you renumber the windows to be sequential, you shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks for your reply Ed,
What do we do now that Flight One is releasing all their AC panels where the window numbers are not in order?
