Gday all,
I have just purchased FSPS and would like to put the RXP530 in the big space on the right side of the C182 VC,I have read the manual but cant find anything on editing the VC.I see the window entries for the VC but they are just black squares with gauges on them ![]() Can some one offer any help to get me started editing my VC or point me in the right direction? |

Usually Ed comes in here, but as you pointed out in the other thread, it has been a few days, so I'll see if I can help. In most cases, the black squares are normal and is the way you edit the VC with FSPS. On a few aircraft, such as Eaglesoft's Premier 1, do have the VC textures viewable in FSPS. But for 95% of aircraft, you don't. That's part of the nature of the VC. Also, for the Cessna 182, if it's the defaut FS 182, that aircraft's VC is very odd in it's layout. The layout of the gauges has really no relation to how they show up in FS. That's why there aren't many mods of the default aircraft's VC. Sorry I don't have better news. |

Unfortunately, there is no documentation from MS on Virtual Cockpits. The physical model of the cockpit is created in the mdl file like the rest of the plane.
There's some stuff out on the web, for example: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/tutorials/dvc_tutorial.zip |
