Hi to you all; Im new in the forum.
I got the freeware C162 yesterday via F1 Agent. I use WIN 10 and FSX Steam and canceled the Windows Defender before install. In the library folder I ticked "Download".
But the setup File did not show up in the usual "Download" Folder!
So I I ticked Run/Open and the complete installation went succesfully without any failure posts.
But: Because I did not find the original download file, I could not install with administrators rights und could not back up the files on another safe place, as proposed in the manual. Evtl. reinstalling out of the ... steamapps\common\FSX-files is not recommended there.
(Other than here for the C182T downloaded a day before I found its F1 Purchase Setup.exe in the Standard download folder. I could easily back it or tick it with administrators rights).
Only later I found two C162 downloaded files in this other folder:
C:\User\admin\Appdata\Roaming\Flight1Purchase\flt1sf
F1Skycatcher.exe with special symbol with red arrow
F1Skycatcher.exe.cfg
(In this place the F1_T182.exe and F1_T182.exe.cfg are also found, while the original T182 F1 Purchase Setup.exe with special symbol with red arrow is in the download folder as said.)
My Questions:
Is that behaviour the normal way for the C162 installation?

Can I use the C:\User\admin\Appdata\Roaming\Flight1Purchase\flt1sf\F1Skycatcher.exe (with special symbol with red arrow) as backup for evtl. reinstall?
Or should I delete and reinstall with another way, if incorrect?
Thank for your help and kind regards
