When I click to build the airport database, I receive a status window that indicates it will take a few moments.  The status indicater show nothing and it does not seem to complete or even start the airport database build process.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Brad

OK, I uninstalled and will reinstall accepting all the defaults.  I think it might be a path problem.  I will send the log file if I have the same problem after the new install.

Thanks,

Brad

I completed the re-install.  I had the config panel open but now when I start the program, it wants to know airport, aircraft and fix.  I need to get back to the config panel.

I was able to get the program working with the installation in stand alone mode.  My first attempt was the ILS runway 9 at KSAN.  I noticed it pisitioned north of centerline but this is not the reason for my post.

I wanted to install in client server mode beciase I run four monitors in full screen mode. After installing the server side, I noticed that it said my machine name was "fsipanel"and the IP is 127.0.0.1.  My deictated IP address is something different.  Both the client and the server have the same wrong IP address.  I can chnage on the client side but not on the server side.  Needless to say, my client cannot connect with the server.

Love the application but I really need a client server configuration.

thanks,

Brad

Hi Brad,

An update of the software will take place tonight, it will improve the Network configuration.

The information (IP adress and computer name) that you see on the SERVER are only for info, disregard that and type your computer NAME or IP Adress on the client.

Close both.

Start Server first.
Start client, you should connect within a few seconds.

Have you already tried putting your SERVER IP in the client, no success?
One customer had a similar problem because he was running VMWARE with virtual host adapters, by disabling them in network, problem was solved.

I changed from the IP address to the server machine name on the client.  This allowed me to connect.  At the top of the window on the client side, it says," No aircraft installed or setup as default".  I checked the aircraft tab on the client and found the PMDG 737-800WL listed.  I am able to select an airport and runway.  When I click on,"Select Fix" I receive the following error.
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object'

I started started the server first and then the client.  I am running 1.0.0.56.

Getting closer.

You need to select an aircraft on the client.
Click on no aircraft selected on top of the main screen.

Ok, I selected an airport. I have both sides running as well as FSX with the choosen airport on the ground.  I picked my airport, runway and fix and hit the "Move Aircraft button".  The aircraft ICON is flashing in green but the aircraft is not beeing moved to final.  I am a liitle confused about when to start FSX.

Could you please send me these 2 logs at support at fsipanel.com
Your server never received the order to move the AC.
I will then give you some tests to do via email.
