Hi,
I am experiencing chronic problems setting up the A320 (new version) in Prepar3D v3. Everything has been setup correctly as per the user guide, but once loaded the aircraft never actually stabilises and the sim repeatedly reloads again and again, to no avail. Is this a common problem, and if so, how can it be resolved?

Hi,
When the aircraft loads, does a window opens with FSIPANEL typing in it?

Have you set your TL to climb? FMA showing SPEED?

Yes, the FSiPanel writing appears and the FMA reports SPEED for the throttle.

Aircraft is then maintaining altitude and speed decreasing slowly to approach speed?

Do you use ASN? If yes, hit key B during trimming phase.

Is the AC at the right place?

Hi,

Yes,the speed has dropped to the correct approach speed and the altitude is correct. The aircraft is aligned correctly for the ILS. I use ASN but hitting B has had no effect. For reference, P3D v2 works flawlessly.

Can you try to use FSiPanel WX engine, close ASN.
Try the same approach.

Same issue?

Hi JP,

I think that I have finally nailed it. It would seem that the Estonia Migration Tool for installing aircraft into P3D interferes with P3D itself, possibly changing something in the Prepar3D.cfg file. Having uninstalled the migration tool and recreated the Prepar3D.cfd file, things seem to working as they should with the A320/321.

So, consider this issue as solved!

Many thanks for your assistance in the meantime.
