Greetings,

A couple of issues with the software:

I have decided to install FSiPanel on the same machine as P3D v2.4. I would like to use Active Sky which lives on a networked machine. The path to ASN is blank. OK...the software doesn't know where to look. When I try to select Active Sky, the software says it cannot find the weather snapshot file. It also says to check on the forum??? Could you please explain how I would go about setting up ASN (networked) in FSiPanel? All I could see in config.txt was FSXActiveSky=0.

I am unable to set the correct path to Aerosoft A318-321 data files. FSiPanel insists on setting
'D:\Documents\Aerosoft\AerosoftAirbusExtended' as the path, even if I change it in config.txt. That folder has one sub-folder 'Flight Recorder', which is empty. I believe the correct folder is 'D:\Documents\Aerosoft\Airbus'. At least that's where the data for the aircraft are stored. Can you enlighten me on that?

Thanks for your help and the program,

Graham

Regards,

Graham

Hi Graham,

You don't need to change the A318 path, it is not used anymore.

For ActiveSky weather, in your case, you need to set the path manually over your network.

You need to share your ActiveSky weather directory and then input this path in FSiPanel config.txt file.

PathActiveSkyP3D=your path to curent_wx_snapshot.txt
ex:
PathActiveSkyP3D=C:\Users\Pierre\AppData\Roaming\HiFi\ASNP3D\Weather\current_wx_snapshot.txt

Then you should be able to select ActiveSky on FSiPanel.

Let me know if ok,

cheers,
