Hi,
Just wondered if someone can confirm I have my scenery listing correctly ordered; specifically:-
  1. should Autogen Lights For UTX be positioned directly above the Global UTX items or at position 17 in the attached screen shot?

  2. should items 25 to 29 in the attached screen shot, remain where they are, or moved to above all the utx items, and below or above Autogen Lights For UTX (if moved to position #17)?
I think I've got it about right but any advice kindly accepted.
Cheers

First some general guidelines:

- Put more geographically specific scenery like cities and airports above less specific geographically areas like countries and continents.
- Do not manually modify the relative order of UTX scenery layers from how they were installed i.e. do not move one UTX layer above another.
- Make sure that the UTX exclusion for default scenery is always the lowest UTX scenery layer and that it is above all of the default FSX scenery layers.

There may be specific reasons to alter these guidelines, but they would either be specified in the UTX manual or from a thorough understanding of how scenery layers work for all the products involved.

In answer to the specific questions asked:

1) There is no real need to change the position of the Autogen Lights for UTX layer from where it was installed unless you manually moved it for some reason. It can go above all the other UTX scenery layers.
2) Generally yes, you would want to move the more geographically specific airport scenery layers above all of the UTX entries.

Hi Jeff,
Many thanks for your response and guidance.
Therefore, if I understand correctly:-
   1. I should position items 25 to 29 between "UK Airspace" and "UT Europe Airports"
   2. then, I should/could position "Autogen Lights for UTX" directly above "UT Europe Airports"
Regards
Paul
