Hi,
Someone contacted me recently, having problems "finding" the RealityXP gauges within FSPS. As a picture speaks a thousand words, the following should answer their question and help others having the same problem ! After opening FSPS, and loading the appropriate panel for editing, either select the gauge to be "swapped out" or use the "Insert new gauge" icon. In both cases you'll get the gauge selection window appear. If you now type *real* (note the asterisks at the start and end) and Return, you should see this: ![]() For the Sandel SN3308, if you highlight the appropriate gauge on the left, you should get a secondary menu to the right with the available "sub-gauges": ![]() Similarly, for the Sandel ST3400: ![]() Finally, for the new FSX/FS2004 gauges, enter *rxp* and you should see something like this: ![]() As the original enquiry was about "finding" the gauges, I'll leave the placement, re-sizing etc. of the gauges for another time ! Great info - thank you! I'm not sure if that is so much the issue (me finding them in the list) as opposed to me clicking on "rxpGNS.gau" and me getting a red warning error "Cannot find gauge!" or something of the like. I'm at work, so screenshots will have to come later today once I'm home, but I'm perplexed about FSPS not being able to locate them. I'm 95% sure I installed it to the ...\Flight Simulator 9 directory.
Thanks again! - Colin |

RXP gauges use some interesting schemes both to draw the gauges (i.e. resources) and to secure the gauges from copying and piracy. We have worked with them to enable at least some support in FSPS.
If you have problems with RXP gauges, you should also be able to get help directly from them - they are familiar with FS Panel Studio and the issues involved. |

Hi Colin,
Check in the FSPS Options settings that you have the "resolve gauge dependancies" tick-box checked. In this case "cannot find the gauge" isn't quite the same as "cannot load gauge" ! Alastair |

Hi Alastair!
How're you? Just curious, after purchasing the RXP FlightLine T/N gauges, I'm trying to put them on my Stationair. I get the following error: |

Hi Colin,
Can you confirm that you do have the "resolve gauge DLL dependencies" checked in the FSPS Preferences ? This is what you should see: ![]() What version of FSPS are you running ? You will need to have the latest version for the RealityXP FSX/FS2004 gauges. ![]() http://www.fspanelstudio.com/buy.htm http://www.fspanelstudio.com/zips/FSPSInstall.exe (Unless you use a CD version, just download and reinstall with your existing Key and Code.) Hey Alastair,
Re the "Resolve Gauge Dependencies", yes I do have that option checked (plz see screenie below): I'm still getting that "cannot load" xxx.dll. Any other ideas? Thanks so much in advance! - Colin |

Hi Colin,
Can you confirm that you're running Build 20340 ? Also, try copying RxpTdxp.dll from your \FS2004 folder into the main FS Panel Studio folder. Alastair |

Hi Alastair, I got the same problem and get the same error. I can confirm that I have the latest version of FSPS installed and I have also copied the file mentioned in the previous post into the FSPS folder. I still get the same error even with "Resolve Gauge Dependencies" enabled. |

Hi Eberhard,
Can we assume from this posting that you have now found the file and the problem has been resolved ? http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=30305 Alastair |
