Reality XP ST3400 troubles.

   I've just purchased the ST3400.
I was hoping to be able to use FS Panel Studio to just swap out gauges but, that doesn't seem to be the case.
The only way I've figured out how to get it to show up is to use the RealityXP configure and add it as a pop up that once closed can't be brought back up again.
Is there any way to make it so I can go into FSPS and hit the swap gauge button and be able to select the ST3400?  This just seems more complicated than it needs to be to change a guage out.

Thanks for any help.  and sorry if this came off wrong just a bit frustrated right now. 
P.S. the only aircraft that I've really tried to install it in is the Dreamfleet Beech Baron 58 Lite. if that makes a difference.
