Dear all,

I am writing here as I think this might be the last chance to find a solution for the following issue:

I am currently learning how to use the freeware FMC VASFmc, since this is the only working FMC tool which can be implemented to freeware aircraft and also does support fuel planning, takeoff speeds, autothrottle etc.
This VASFmc comes with a 2D Airbus 320 Cockpit, which is fine to use, but is has one big disadvantage: It can only be controlled via mouse. None of the assigned external panel buttons (i.e. Autopilot Alt Dec, course, climb rate) do work. But I do not want to fly with mouse to control the autopilot.
I also tried mouse macros via FSUIPC, but they also do not work.
There is no support any more for VASFmc and and Lars, who made a tutorial in youtube about this tool also confirmed that it only works with mouse.

So I thought maybe I can add the function with a cockpit editor. Although I am using FS9 / FSX since 15 years I do not have experience with editing a cockpit - except adapting the .cfg.

Can anybody of your community let me know if you can "teach" a cockpit to accept button inputs?
Thank you so much for your ideas,

Mathias

Hi again.
Is there no one, who can have a look at this cockpit or give a hint, with which software and how this can be done?
As described: The target is to switch i.e. the Autopilot Altitude with buttons - at the moment you can only change it by mouse click.

Thank you all
