I'm using FS Panel Studio for the first time and it's looking promising, and I'm heartened to see that it's compatible with FSX Steam Edition, however the editor seems to be unable/unwilling to access the gauges that come with aircraft purchased through Steam as downloadable content. While aircraft are typically installed in the FSX/SimObjects folder, all Steam downloadable content installs into FSX/DLC, and I cannot figure out how to get FS Panel Studio to browse to that folder. Also, if I understand FS Panel Studio, it searches for gauges at a folder level equal to or lower than the panel.cfg file, however the gauges in the folder structure of the Steam DLC aircraft are folder levels higher than panel.cfg, so possibly FS Panel Studio is natively incompatible with editing aircraft as DLC? Am I missing something here. Any suggestions? Thanks.
