Stephen - puzzled to discover that my recent posts on installation problems have disappeared from the forum.
Do you know why this has occurred?

Yes. You said you had given up on getting it installed and would not be using it anymore. Hence, the posts were of no interest or usefulness to anyone else. The posts did not conclude anything or provide insight to anyone else on the forum, so they were removed.

P.S.

Are you still interested in getting it installed? If so download our latest Purchase or Upgrade EXE wrapper file, check your C drive sharing, sharing permissions, security permissions, and ownership (set all to Everyone and Full Access), then run the EXE in Admin Mode with not AV or Win Defender active.

If you still get an error message then let me know what EXE you downloaded and what the error message was.

I would advise creating the c:\Opus Software folder, keep your licence key in that folder, and then download the latest and relevant EXE wrapper to that folder and run it from there.
