Prepar3D v5 Settings Error
There is a bug in Prepar3D v5 that rears its head when try to change its Options after OpusFSI weather has been injected. This is because the Prepar3D weather checks think its an error if the cloud tops of one layer are above the cloud base of another. Silly I know. In such cases P3D gives the prompt, Please correct errors or click Cancel There is however a simple solution until LM get round to correcting this, 1. Select Weather options. 2. Select the Clouds Layers. 3. Delete any overlapping cloud layers. 4. Select OpusWeather again in the Weather Conditions section. 5. Click OK. In Step 3 you may also simply reduce the overlapping cloud Tops. Again don't forget to reselect OpusWeather before clicking OK. In Step 4 (selecting OpusWeather again) it is MOST IMPORTANT in order to preserve the injected weather. Regards Stephen ![]() |
