Question, will your textures replace all the nighttime texture files or just the ones for the roads? I am currently using Chris Arringtons night time texture package and that updates all night time textures in the US and Europe. Now, will this package replace all the files in Chris Arringtons (can be found on Avsim) package....I have a feeling installing this will corrupt how the European roads look due to it replacing various files while keeping other files therefore what you end up with is a mixed bag of Chris's files and Flight1's files.

The roads use their own textures. We do not overwrite anything. So it should have no affect.

I think it will be ultimately really up to us to find out what happens when me mix/match different texture sets.
The best result would probably be obtained by having roads from Flight1 and all other night textures from Chris Arrington or Chris Willis (per individual preference). I just saw the screenshot of the KSFO that Steve posted and being intimately familiar with this area I have to say it is a bit empty - the tiles of street blocks are too dark. We may have to fill it in with someone elses textures. Just my opinion of course. Michael J. |
