reworked models and textures for dx10 render system in FSX
rework system logics based on J-10`s system technology.
rework gauges to fit changes in models and animations.
 
remove 2d panel, totally in VC spot.
remove unnesserary shapes.
change weapon payload system and control logics.
 
This upgraded MiG-15 may complete soon, we will shipped with typical skins, but skins from SP3 also can be used on it.

We have now complete MiG`5/Bis/SB single seat aircraft models, and UTI aircrafts may complete later, we hope sp4 can release in 2011.8.
I will update topics when we make it.

Thanks you YoYo have a nice UTI movie for me to adjust the shape. We are completing models in this week and package will send to flight1 soon. the package include MiG-15 /MiG-15Bis /MiG15SB/BisSB, UTI/UTIBis/CS102 and SBLIM2 models, a GPS device also mount in cockpit with gunsight as a condition controled part by aircraft.cfg.

Flight1 still has only SP3.  Any date on when SP4 available?
 
I'm still flying SP2.  Will the earlier addon repaints work with SP3 and SP4?

Aircraft Skins can be using on SP3 and SP4
but if you paint VC textures, you may repaint it.
 
I Have MiG-15 for FSX native format and dx3 bmp texture. Our SP4 models also support DX5 dds format as J-10 models.
If you want to using your own skins in fsx on SP4, please keep it as a dx3 format or dx5 dds format(with flip top-down)
 
I have sent package to Flight1, they may take time to update. I will sent out notice when they make SP4 online for updating
 
On the day when SP4 release, users who pruchased version before SP4 can using their own key install SP4 (Please uninstall old versions,backup your own skins, cfg...etc to a safe place).
 
And who pruchse MiG-15 after SP4 release may install it directly.
 
Thank you for all MiG-15 users long time supporting to my Bear Studios.
 
Next SP4 is MiG-17, it also will be same standard as Mig-15 SP4 and J-10 for both FSX and FS9 versions.

Bill.  I have removed my previous install and now have SP3 installed.  Some of the earlier Aircraft Skins refer to models that have been renamed such as F2PTB400, PTB300 and PTB400.  Can you tell me which models these are now?

F2 means aircraft is Chinese rebuild MiG-15Bis, it has some detail difference from standard MiG-15Bis. PTBXXX meand aircraft carry difference droptank types. if you paint Bis model skins, all aircraft model baesd on standard MiG-15Bis can fit it`s variants

MiG-15/MiG15Bis/Uti/UtiBis. the main difference is air brake shape.

SP4 download version have released on Flight1`s MiG-15 product page.
CD version may need more time for this SP4 update
For using SP4, please keep your skins and modifications to a safe location, and uninstall versions before this SP4,then, install SP4
 
Skins before SP4 can using on SP4, if you fly FSX, please just drop MiG_1_t.bmp and MiG_2_t.bmp into texture.XXX folders and copy any texture.cfg from other texture folder into this texture.XXX folder.
 
We use skills from fsx default texture system defines, so skins do not need copy all textures to a texture folder. common textures can be hold into a public texture folder (MiG_15Bis/texture)

edit payload station.12 = 200 to 0
save file.
 
the gunsight will hide, and it position replaced by a mounted gps.
then you may press backview mirror one time to "told" logic sytem current aircraft handle by pilot and using gps . the final step is press gps power button to bring up gps map.
 
we make this step to avoid gps show up when aircraft model using as AI.only human pilot handle aircraft may using gps for navigation.

This is a movie I record from a test platform: Core 2 2.4G, Nv G105M 256M, 2G DDR2 RAM
If your hardware spec lower than this hardware requirment, FSX version may have a bit low FPS (about 25 fps average in VC , clean FSX+AEP default installation)
 
On our test platform, FS9 version can keep 30fps in VC.But I keep clean install for test flight.
I have changed all textures to DX3 format in SP4. so if in VC you get less fps than SP3, the main reason may be logic computing for system simulation more heavier than SP3.

Yes, we have remove 2d-panel in SP4.
you may keep SP3 installation and install SP4, if you like SP3, you may reinstall it, this is no limite to degrade to old version
 
I think VC can make fly more closer to real aircraft for wide screen displays, and it is easy to creat when we have no proper pictures for aircraft cockpit. So when we can make VC have average FPS near 30 on most hardware spec, we deceide build VC only.
 
Both MiGs and J-10 can add 2d-panel, need modify panel.cfg,incative the gauge logic witch bypass 2d panel in FS9.

From my personal experience, all issue related to the wrapper have been self inflicted (even CP's make mistakes).  The wrapper is very effective and simple to use but not foolproof.  Heck, Not even CD media is perfect in that regard thanks to the foibles of various flavors of Windows, antivirus and a multitude of other products people populate their hard drives with.  In the one instance that I did follow and meet all the requirements but it still didnt work, a service ticket and a days wait took care of it.

you may download current MiG-15 download version from Flight1`s MiG-15 product page and reinstall it. this current version contains SP4 features.
