Hi Pilots

trying not to take this personally; I've recently been getting messages on GTN 750-650 :

'KNOB STUCK' "The volume knob is stuck in the pressed position".

Anyone here seen this'n? What does it mean? (The LM ATC voice hasn't changed volume).
IF this message is relevant (or is it a red herring?), then how do I react to it e.g. push something?

Thanks

Suggest you take this to the GTN support forum

BTW, I certainly have not heard of this before. Do you have something leaning against your GTN gauge?

Thanks for your guidance Bert.

I've just landed from a short trip up the road RAF Leeming to Durham Tees in A2A Bonanza. NO "Knob stuck" message on the GTN 750.

I think, before I take this to the GTN support forum, I'm gonna spend a few flights getting a pattern for this GTN message (if it re-appears): 750 and/or 650?; all planes or specific (e.g. yesterday 'knob stuck' appearing on GTN 650 with A2A Cherokee).

No panic here 'cos my flights don't seem impaired in any way.

PS I havn't got any external GTN guage/device for anything else to lean/impede
