Thank you for this amazing software and your quick and helpful response to it's users. I've read on another post where a few challenges are proposed, and since I know most of us have that awesome Kai Tak scenery, today I'll post here the relevant information to make the airport "alive" in the ALL PMDG aircraft FMC. All that would be required of you J.P is to allow FSiPanel to offer the "STAR" option for Kai Tak and we'll be able to load it and fly that IGS Rwy 13...in the PMDG 777, MD-11, 747 or 737 for that matter. To all interested persons, please follow these instructions carefully: 1) Locate your PMDG "SIDSTARS" folder within FSX, next copy any of the files in that folder and move it to a folder so you can "work" on it. My challenge to you J.P is to provide us with the "STAR" in FSiPanel and perhaps you can post your video on Youtube as well...I've provided everything else. Hi,
I've created a little tool that will do all the modifications written above automatically. It will add VHHX to PMDG folders and add the STARs to FSiPanel. Please note that this tool will not have any support or with very low priority. Please backup your folders before using, a backup is automatically created. Download the tool, run it and click ADD Kai Tak to start the proces. Please let me know if you were able to fly approaches there! You need a scenery for the ILS to be in the AIR. J-P you did an outstanding job once again...thank you. I am able to fly approaches at Kai Tak quite easily time and time again. The installer was simple and easy to use, so I'll open up a challenge soon. After basically watching the RNAV approach twice, I spent all day studying the approach chart and working on nailing that approach by the numbers using only the VOR, NDB and ILS...all hand flown. So again, thanks to this great addition (of the VHHX STAR) to your already amazing software, one of aviations most infamous approaches can now be replicated with ease. Hi, do you have the installer for iFly 737NG for the VHHX airport. I was able to enter data to FSX 737NG navdata folder. But I need files for SIDS/STARS folders in order to complete.
