Presently my hardware-accelerated gpu scheduling is off in my graphics settings. I'm not really seeing much of a difference in performance when I turn it on. Do any of you guys use it? Are there any noticeable advantages or disadvantages to enabling it?

I haven't run any benchmark comparisons like 3DMark, but in the sim I have found no noticeable difference between enabled/disabled.  From the reading I've done (only 4-5 articles) there isn't much yet to be gained, and as I'm running this as a simulator and I'm not a gamer, it doesn't surprise me to see no gain.  I haven't seen a downside either.  I though it remarkable that it was only 1-2 fps advantage in some games.  I generally don't count frames anyway, I look for smoothness of the rendered flight.  So a smooth 30 fps consistent across the boards is fine with me.  I wouldn't notice the difference between 30 fps and 32 fps if it was a smoothly rendered flight.

You already know my general "grain of salt" opinion on the "latest/greatest" bandwagon.  It may be that in the future as the base is built upon that it will have more of an impact, but right now its kind of a "meah" for me.  I presently have it enabled to give it a trial look-see, but I'll probably end up turning it off as I generally like the system as lean and mean as it will run, and one less thing to remember to disable if I have to troubleshoot something by process of elimination.  It will be interesting to see in the coming few years if it has a tangible benefit. It appears to be early in its implementation.

Yeah, I'm not seeing any difference to be honest. I don't chase frames either and I'm not noticing any change with smoothness.
