Hello,
I'm in trouble, as I just installed GEP3D to my pc, all went ok until I run GEP3D interface,
a security alert popped up - Trojan: win32/occamy.C73.
That's happens every time I try to run this app. well I took a big risk and disconnected my
windows defender, and run GEP3D Interface without any problem.
But it says that this thread is very bad. So what to do??? Cry

Hope that this not true.

Best regards
Geert
Happy easter to all of YouTongue

Hi Geert,

That is a false positive, you can submit the exe to your virus software provider.
Depending on what anti-virus software you are using check in its help section how to upload a file for check and white listing.

Hi,

That program has not changed for 3 years. I validated the date on the server also. Right click the shortcut and open the containing folder, then you can view the GEP3D.exe file and confirm the date from around February of 2019.

This is likely Microsoft picking it up as a false-positive.

You should be able add it as an exclusion so it would be allowed. See this link:

You can also upload it to virustotal.com and see which other vendors are not classifying it.

Hej Steve,
Have done that now, but seems that the app not coming on screen, will return later, when I
possible figures out the problem or may be not

Hej Steve,
So I'm back again, I  did a complete uninstall of GEP3D and UTX Europe, then make sure
that I made exceptions for the programs in MS Defender, and now it all works.
Just a heavy loading time for P3D 15 min. did not have that with orbx.
so I think we can close this topic for now.

Regards
Geert
