I am trying to replace a 6 pack of gauges in an aircraft's vc with a G600.  (the G600 is from an addon aircraft. Carenado PA-34)  The VC has no 3D modeling of gauges on the panel, so I figured I could do this pretty easily without 3D modeling getting in the way.

When I do so, I can see the G600 on the panel in the VC, and it powers on with the avionics and is operational, but none of the buttons are clickable as they are when the avionic is used with the addon aircraft it came with.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem or if there is a step I am missing?

Is there something I need to do in order to get the gauge offsetted from the panel or anything so that the clickability is not hidden behind the panel? If you know what I mean....

Many thanks,

Caleb

Hello,

I have dropped a note to the dev to see if he can help you out.

Cheers!

Thanks Jeff!

I am very interested in what the developer has to say.
I believe I have found part of the problem though.  All of the other clickable items in this aircraft's VC are having the similar problem.  Not clickable when they should be.  Every now and then if you hover over them the mouse "flickers" barely allowing a click sometimes if you are lucky..

I think it is a problem with the aircraft.  Not FS panel studio.

But I am still interested in what the dev has to say though.
Is there any chance this entire problem might be fixable in FSPS?....

Thanks,
   Caleb

Unfortunately the click spots along with the bitmap placement is part of the VC design, and can't be edited with FSPS. Sometimes you can get away with swapping gauges if they are simple but complex gauges usually have insurmountable problems unless you can get the source to the VC and rebuild.

Thanks Ed,

It is a freeware plane with no gauge 3D modeling.  And even the gauges that were in the model originally have the clicking problem.  I think it is just the way it was designed.

I plan to do my clicking and dialing in a popup window and just look at the PFD etc. in the VC.

Thanks everyone very much for your time.
