We are making EZdok Camera Version 2 available for forum users before the product actually goes live. The product is not actually on Flight1.com yet, but you can get it through this thread. I want to create for each plane unique camera a set with unique effects and character as much as possible to bring closer flight to reality. It demands some time and patience. About 100-150 coefficients contains each camera set which need to be adjusted so that effects have approached reality. I have tried to upgrade from version 1.87 I have followed the procedure d/load software upgrade coupon Order Number Key file Certificate Number I am informed that there is a problem with network or firewall error ( I had tested connection prior to upgrade all ok) any ideas or a message to Flight1 for assistance? |

Hi, downloaded the installer but it doesnt launch. Tried running as admin and compatibility mode with windows 7 and 8, still no luck. Any suggestions?

C,mon now, this is not an upgrade to a 1.xx version, this is completely new version 2.
I don't know how you come to the conclusion that a completely new 2.0 version equals a version 1.x.x upgrade. Technically the 12.95 that you have to pay is not pay again for what you have, it is a huge discount to a completely brand new version 2. Sheesh!

Do you have old EZ version ? For disable old version - Just rename old EZCA folder to other nane . Should be: C:\ProgramFiles(86)\EZCA_OLD for example. After this run configure tool again. |

How long will it be before we get instructions in English? I am at a complete loss for now. I have been trying to install my previous .ecs files but can't do it. Unless there is some help available I will have to delete this 2.0 version and go back. At present I can't fly.

Conclusion for new cameras - You must use otherway profiles (import it) and then configure. You can't make "brand new camera from positions" - am I right?

Manual ? I have very big lang.barrier. Next version will be with other interface, or i add some features over interface. I need rewrite manual every time ? I do not remember such conditions other sellers and this is the best solution if you do not find the answer to your question. Just take the money back in silence. If you do not like something - please take refund and do not write negative here. The problem will be solved one way or another, but your negative record will remain. Probably after some time will be manual and features that you need. I can not do all these things at once. Some time i need sleep and rest. I am 45year old. Not 18.. Sorry. Use OnlineHelp on interface for answer in your questiuons. I will update this list every day with new link. |

I am not going to butt in and offer support to users - I just want to give my impressions The coupon worked for me -  The install for v2 worked for me - I uninstalled v1 completely ( highly recommend - run as admin) I fully appreciate that new profiles are needed due to new effects - initial impressions - it is worth it I think tutorial video forget doing a manual pdf in terms of cost for the upgrade - it seems pretty good value to me - considering it includes P3d support -- comments -- tested with FSX SE I had to increase the speed for keyboard and mouse - as editing was way too slooow at default settings (general settings in GUI sorted it) I am a little concerned that v2 is running in REALTIME - am I mis-informed I thought this was generally a BAD idea  P3d - having issues - I tried renaming the Virtual cockpit - download camera - and view zoomed out to 0.00 ?? and I could not add new VC view - I then restarted sim and V2 and instead copied the download camera view -pasted it and re-named it - then edited it as normal so far VC aircraft and world camera are all working normally - looking forward to using the new features over next few days |

Camera copy doesn't work. Also, I can't seem to add a new camera...right click does nothing if the line doesn't already have a camera. We probably need a EZDoc V2 bug thread.

For FSX Acceleration I get the Addons/ Studio ok but I cannot add a new camera like I did in version 1 ??
I have just a Client update to P3D v3.4.18.19475 I do not get Ezdok Studio in the Addons Menu ( it is in the P3D .. exe.xml) ?? Note: Ezdok Config tool worked ok for FSX and P3D. I use Win7-64 |

Please note that I recommend creating a "System Restore" point before you try to install this software. It saved me a lot of time. The problem comes in when I try to import my camera sets (using the Import function in the File menu of the Studio interface) made in the previous version. It appears that the old .ecs files are not used by v2.0. There is another "Convert Camera Set" selection in the File menu of the Studio. I tried this but Studio appeared to freeze and any movement of the mouse would erase portions of the Studio window. I wouldn't let me brows for and convert my old camera files. (Note: I may not be using the correct verbage for the File menu items, I'm doing this from memory). At this point, I'm not willing to re-create all my camera sets in v2.0. It would seem to me that a new version of EZDok should be able to: 1. Import the General settings of the previous version, i.e. the keyboard assignments to the functions of EZDok. 2. The sensitivity settings of the previous version, to the extent that they exist in the new version. Any new features in the new version would have default settings. 3. The new version must, must, must be able to import the camera sets of the previus version. Maybe v 2.0 does and I've found a bug that keeps it from working for me. 4. The new version's program installer should have the ability to recover the needed previous version settings, then would uninstall the old version before installing the new version. Many programs do this. When the new program is asked to Import and previous version's camera set, it should automatically convert is tothe new version. The software designer of EZDok have earned my respect and admiration. I've been using his product (upgraded to v1.18) for years without issue and, luckily, using "System Restore" in Windows 7, I was able to return to using my old version when I discovered the new version to be unusable (for me) for the reasons listed above. I applaude Marniftarr's dedication in trying to bring us an exciting new version of this software. I hope that a future update of this software that fixes the problems I've noted will allow me to jump to the new version. The $12.50 I've paid to upgrade is extremely reasonable so that I'm willing to wait a bit to see if these problems are addressed. Lantz

Yesterday I have found a strange bug - I was given absolutely correct exe.xml. But he didn't work for the unclear reason. I have replaced it with the same from my computer. Everything has perfectly earned. Send me the exe.xml on support@arcc-pro.com I need to define the reason of your problem. |

You are very exacting to addition which works with overdocumentation. Don't forget that 90% of functions which are done by EZ aren't documented and weren't developed by Microsoft. This addition - the most difficult thing and most difficult it to adapt it to the simulator. Don't demand simple things from difficult. Some functions about which you speak or aren't possible or will demand extra time. Any change in the program causes the mass of mistakes in users. Each change demands long beta testing. I will remind that this add-on is written to overprotocol and overdocumentation. It not the standard application for Windows, it works not standardly. We considered many options. But have stopped on it. As is. |

b200fo, you are going to be happy so far WER under win 10 is NOT generating any appcrash reports for Ezdok V2 (i'm using the pre-release build 14986.rs - so when it rolls out as a win 10 update soon ezdok should still be OK)

Hi. I am having trouble getting the coupon to work. Every time I process my order, there is an error message that says coupon email does not match. I don't know why this is happening because I entered my account email(one currently in use) on the coupon. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
