Usually it does not work if it's not updated. Further, it should be updated also to be compatible with the latest release of Active Sky!

I do not integrate with AS but v3.2.0.3 works fine in respect of cameras

I installed the P3Dv5.3HF2 update along with ASP3D B8054 and EZCA (v3.2.0.3) is working with both. Smile

But until EZCA is not updated, it's not integrated with Active Sky, the Active Sky box is not green in the EZCA main panel (and AS doesn't appear in the turbulence effects window)..

EDIT: Correction, installed P3D v5.3 HF2 and latest Active Sky, looks like EZCA is integrated...

Not sure if anyone else ran into this, but today, after installing Windows 10 update KB5010793 (which also installs Servicing Stack 10.0.19041.1490) EZCA would not connect to P3Dv5.3HF2. Could be just a coincidence, but I had to switch back to SimConnect v10.0.61259.0. I never tried re-running the EZ_loader, but I didn't think you had too after doing it once.

Run the EZsc loader in EZCA3.1. It works with the 5.3 HF2 on my system. Working with AS all so.

Why can't this information be written by the developers on the Ezdoc hompage.

You always have to wait a long time for a reaction.

The camera tool is very good but without it you can't update after an update.

Information would be perfect on the hompage.

+1 for the update to HF2....

Unistalling EZCA brings 5.3HF2 to live. Installing it get it to CTD upon starting. Actually i did another test: Removed EXE entries and started sim. After that, while on the ramp, ran manually EZCA and BANG, CTD..... W10 here...

Unusable without the update....

I am using ezca 3203 without problems in p3d v5.3hf2 and it also recognizes AS

All right, after reinstalling from ground up, and using 3.2.0.3, it is working.... Testing for a while.

Good morning.

For a clean install, do we need to download and install the Flight1 exe and then install latest patch from Ezdok site? Is it possible to download and full installer without Flight1 process that needs license code and rest? I never remember my Flight1 password and need to reset it.

What order should I follow for getting the latest beta version for v5.3? Is 3.2 still beta?

My doubt is because I have several files and I don't know the exact order or which ones I need to keep. Actually is working but I need to format my drive and do a fresh install.

I start thinking that we, P3D owners, are starting to be abandoned by the developers... They are all concentrating on FS2020 and P3D is left apart... That's a shame, because they are TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS: P3D is kinda professional, FS2020 is still recreational and just a bit more that a game.... Until FS2020 will have professional capabilities, P3D MUST be carried on, otherwise we lose the professional sim advances, in favour of those of a game...

I think you might be right. Over 10 days ago I sent in a support ticket to EZCA regarding a problem running EZCA following the P3D 5.3 update. But after 10 days not a peep out of them. Fortunately I was eventually able to fix the issue myself. But going forward you wonder how long before addons like EZCA become unusable due to developer lack of interest because they are no longer selling product like they used to before MSFS2020 or they have just moved onto MS2020 stuff.

+1 despite i was able to figure out and make it work initially, after todays windows update, its broken again(using win10). Lets try another workaround... Ouch

I just updated Windows 10 with KB5010342 and KB5011093. No more updates showing after the mandatory reboot. I loaded P3Dv5.3.17.28160 and EZCA is still working for me. Pretty sure I'm still using SimConnect v10.0.61259.0.

Can someone help please I am running P3Dv5.3 plus Ezdok as admin when I go from cockpit view to external view Ezdok stops working I have to exit P3D and restart again this is the message that I get when I shut down P3D

There seems to be a distinct lack of support for this product. I am beginning to think the devs have abandoned this.

I am having repeated startup issues with EZCA. There seems to be an issue with simconnect in that I have to run EZsc_loader each time I before start P3D (5.3HF2) after a PC reboot otherwise, while EZCA is there in Task Manager, it does not connect to P3D.

The other issue I have that may or may not be normal is that I have to manually re-enable EZCA after going into slew mode (I have selected the option to disable EZCA in slew mode). This becomes an issue when using GSX Quick Edit pushback.

As others have noted EZCA does seem to have become abandonware.

Thank you pal, this one did the trick. In fact, it is happening again, suddenly EZCA stops working(Simconnect issue) and after playing with the Config tool and EZ loader, voila!..... working again. I hope i wont need to do this every restart.

Lockheed Martin delivered, FSLabs delivered, ActiveSky delivered... I´m sure you guys also won´t let us down.

For me there is no difference to how it was working in 5.3, zoom levels not retained between switching cameras.

ActiveSky integration is however lost with the latest build.

So, as I hinted on Avsim, EZCA is referencing the P3Dv5 files, which you can see when you run the config tool. This makes sense since it was made for v5. A bit of trickery is needed to have it utilize the v6 files (aircraft/addons/controls/cameras). I'll post my steps on Avsim. The good news is that it should be fairly easy for the dev to modify it for P3Dv6.

Sorry to undust... but we need a full installer/updater for 5.4. Its a nightmare to "reinstall and config tool, loader, try again...no not working.....change simconnet version, repeat again...not working, lets unistall everything and try again..... ohh not working...right simconnect 61259, repeat again all steps again..........ohh finally.... / not the end, now you can configure all your EZca KeyBinding again , because they are lost.........." every time there is a windows update or sim update....

As far as i can see, the fix is relatively piece of cake for "general users".... so come on..... can you load up a "decent" full installer / updater..... ? Confused
