    Posted: May-20-2003 at 9:49am

I got this error while trying to add the RealityXP 737 ADI to a panel, it also occurs with the Reality XP ATD gauge:

GetRIDs Exception EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

A Windows Exception occurred while trying to read Gauge "Unknown"

This Gauge is invalid or corrupt.

You should immediately save your work and exit FS Panel Studio

Please remove this Gauge from your GAUGES folder!

On the ATD gauge, I have manually inserted that into a few of my aircraft and always get this error when I try to load the panel in FS Panel Studio.

My details:

FS Panel Studio Build 14153

Windows XP Pro (SP1)

Thanks...

Jim

I believe this can be solved by going into the options menu ->Preferences ->Gauge Drawing Options (little Blue button inside of the preferences) -> and check "Resolve Gauge DLL Dependencies".

This way you can also properly adjust the alignment of the gauge or insert it into other gauges without any problems.

That did it.  Thank you so much.
