Gentlemen ,

I am trying to do two windows with the same gauges , EADI and EHSI, to be used in two different monitors. I get todo  taht , but only the gauges of one window works, the other one just shows the bipmap but does not work.

Any idea how to solve this problem ?

Thanks and regrds

Depends on the gauge itself.  While many of the gauges used in MSFS will allow for duplicate entries there are some specialized gauges that won't.  If you are dealing with a very complicated gauge, like some of the newer EFIS displays, they are designed to go blank or freeze when you bring up their zoomed counterpart thus saving framerates.  If the gauge has this type of coding it wasn't designed for multiple instances in the same panel and in many cases would cause a very high CPU load and significantly slow computer performance.

The gauges I am trying to use in duplicate is the EADI and EHSI fo the DF737400 with FS2002. I have get use the standby gauges for composing the co-pilot view in my home cockpit, but EADI and EHSI I didn't get.

Any help or it is impossible  what I am thinking to have ?

Zane,

I don't have problem of frame rates as I am using a dedicate computer for the panel ,and other one for the front view , via wideview ,so ,is there any way to do the two gauges working together ?

Hi Alberto,

Your computer is probably five years newer than the state of art computer when the DF737 was designed.  These gauges were never programmed for what you are trying to do with them.  Your option may be to try using RealityXP's EADI and EHSI or some other 737 type displays for the copilot application.  There's a chance that you could create copies of the original gauges and rename them by adding the number 2 to them but these were so tied in to the workings of the whole panel as well as the FMS I have no idea if they would work or if they would mess up the workings of the whole panel.  I am going to refer you to the dedicated support forum for the DF737-400 but understand this is not really a support issue since the files do work in the way they were originally designed to.  Someone over there may have already attempted what you are trying to do and could offer advice.  The DF737-400 support forum can be found here.  This is an old product so you may find that there is not a lot of action on that forum.

Good luck ;)

Thanks Zane ,

Really that is an old product , but you will agree that is an excellent plane.

I will try to do what you mention in your reply.

Thanks and best regards
