Hi,

I use Spad.next and saitek controllers to fly my islander.

I can set up all the basic stuff like radios and such like fine.

However I would like to be able to use a spare button to activate the LNAV switch as it's in such an awkward place in the virtual cockpit.

How do I access it? Simconnect event? FSUIPC? LVARS? Or is it a data value I have to adjust.

Also I dont suppose there is a 2D panel version of the Islander Autopilot not enabled that I could put up on a separate monitor to operate/see whats activated? (I put the KLN90 up on a seprate monitor as 2D) Or a freeware BN2 autopilot panel made you know about?

I look forward to hearing soon.

For a better view of the AP hit the "A" key twice and you'll be staring right at it.  There have been 2D Islander cockpits over the years.  Do a search at avsim.com, flightsim.com, or simviation.com for one that includes a 2D panel with AP.  Most likely the AP in the Flight1 Islander and the AP on a 2D panel will be somewhat in synch.

Hi Frank,

Thanks for replying. Yes I know you can cycle thru the views with the "A" key. This is currently the only way to practically access the LNAV switch.
What I was looking for was a 2D panel window of the Autopilot accessible from virtual cockpit that I could undock and put on another screen.
I will search the usual filestores for this.

Mostly looking for what system event I need to access for the LNAV switch as it doesn't seem to be a standard FSX event (as listed below) so I guess it is specific to the F1 BN2?

Help appreciated.

Rob.
