Eyepoint position cause visual illusion, in FSX we move eyepoint higher and backward than lockon to make a clear view for landing, so the shapes in lockon may show up in same or simular view in fsx.

No, our gauge system auto switch to proper unit when you choose different measurements in FS setting page
 
when select metric unit, gauge will give metic readout, when select english unit system, it shows up english unit.

Hello, any updates to speak of?  New mouthwatering screenshots?  I'm really looking forward to this release.  Thanks for being the one to finally create the two-seat Flanker in FSX.
The visual model would be very close to the SU-30MKK...  Will a paintkit be released as well?

I just fly a nearly complete aircraft in FSX mission, and update some screen shot in my QQ  album.
 
This product include
J-11B Flanker B+ with chinese and russian weapons payloads
J-11BS Flanker C+ with chinese and russian weapons payloads
 
These 2 variants represent J-11B/BS in 2008`s test flight stage, they have glass cockpit with advanced avionics system, 3 MFDs and 1 Hud fit in panels. they can carry air to surface precision weapons as KH-29, KH-31 and KAB bombs.
 
J-11A Flanker B /SU-27 Flanker B
Su-27UBK for J-11B`s developement avionics test flight. with upgrade avionics system, chinese build HUD and MFD, these 2 variants can carry R-77 missiles and ECM pods, they also can carry un-guided air-to ground weapons such as FAB bombs and S-13 rockets.
 
All aircraft variants have gauges reference from SU-30MKK aircraft which PLAAF regarded as standard for all J-11B/BS/J-15/16 projects.
 
In 2013, we may build Naval Flankers with Carrier models for next project.
it may include
1,J-15 and Su-33 carrier based fighters. have tailhooks and other equipments for carrier operating
2,J-16 and SU-30MKK fighter-bombers. these variants have different shapes, gauges and flight models
 
3,Varyag Carrier

Yes, we have only system reference from Su-30MKI in english, so we replace some systems from Su-27 with Su-30

Bill, thank you for this wonderful aircraft!  Clap  Bought it yesterday at Simmarket, and like my two other BS aircraft (MiG-15 and J-10) I really like it!   
A small question though: The landing lights don't seem to illuminate the ground? I can see the lights on the landing gear are on, but the ground stays dark. 
Also: would it be possible to add a clean model without any weapons in a possible future update?

you may turn on taxi light or landing light via a 3 position switch on aircraft misc control panel(located on left console). the default position is all off, middle position is taxi light, forward position is landing light.
This switch as real su-27sk/su-30, can not turn on both taxi and landing light at same time. when turn on landing light on ground, to avoid overheat, limit time may be less than 5 min.
 
as J-10`s system, my flanker family aircraft also using all of FS light effects list in SDK document for other usage as weapon system and engine exhaust... so we set a default logic switch in logic system to turn off FS stock light control. you may control cockpit/aircraft lights in VC via these control switchs.

I test your problem, find out just in night, the landing light and taxi light can  illuminate the ground
If you want to no weapons and payloads, please set these to 0 in aircraft.cfg and save it.

31.Weapon System Control Panel
usage:
1, make sure  weapon master switch off
2, left mouse click to open red safty cover
3, right mouse click or roll mouse wheel to pull emgency switch backward
4, press trigger (brake button) and hold to release all of weapon payload from aircraft.
 
This is my test taxi/landing light on J-15 in FSX ,it with same logic system as J-11B, only night time can illuminate ground. I think it may be stock FSX landing light defines to do that,because landing/taxi system in my model logic/xml code is attach fsx`s stock land light effect directly.

Is the J-15 the Chinese equivalent of the Su-33 Naval Flanker? Looks great! 
 
I checked my default aircraft, the landing lights work. Then I checked the J-11; here's how it looks with the landing lights on:
 
 
But no lights on the ground:
 
 
All other exterior lights do work, no problems there.
 
Only a minor niggle, but somewhat annoying when trying to land in darkness. Maybe other buyers can shed some light (Pun intended!)on this issue?

Yes , I have check same model as you (J-11A with ecm pod on wingtips), the landing/taxi lights illuminate ground as normal.
Do you run FSX in DX9 or DX10?
 
The J-15 is chinese copy from su-33`s prototype T-10K, with chinese build weapon, engine and avionics. It has tandem 2-seat varient as F-18F. this aircraft still in develope stage.

Cut off engine exhaust effect when engine off

For get J-11B in FSX using less effects to simulate some visual animation as possible, we rewrite stock light control system, and using LOGO light and REC Light produce enging exhaust smoke when engine working, so the exhaust smoke can be seen on both MIL thrust and Afterburner Active.
 
But these 2 effect still link to light bus, so when engine failed or stop, the related exhaust smoke can not cut off automtically, you need to switch off electical bus to cut the engine exhaust.
 
So, we apply a simply modify in aircraft to deal this problem. you may open your aircraft.cfg via notepad or other editor which can support plain text format.Then, locate these lines, change any numbers with the red lines list below, then, save the aircraft.cfg
 
The result for this modify is:
Redirect the flare effect to a avionice power bus, and when condition reached max amps and volts, the effect can be control to fire/release by aircraft logic system, override the stock fsx aircraft status when loading in multiple game which FSX often detect stock varients conditions.
 
And redirect left and right engine exhaust smokes to the related engine, just engine run and bus amps and volts reach the working status, the engine smoke will be produced, and if engine shut down, when bus conditions out of working conditions, engine smoke will be cut off.
 
This modify can be used on current J-10A/S J-10B, J-10ADT products and MiG-15/17 products(SP5), because they have same effect logic computing code in model and gauges.

Maybe your stock landing light effect in FSX be changed or modified, so it changes working way, make different from stock effects.

I have problem with elevator trim, is all time reset to 0.0 and I can't established flight, the nose go down all time  

I don't know how to use the 38. Flight Cont... properly and the wheel D in 37.Throttle go to 0.0 after every adjustment

Can't have stabilized flight in or below 490k/h

if you want to take direct control the elevator trim,
please make sure switch off 39-D "AOA/G-Force Limit Switch",
then click 38-A "Direct  Control  Mode  Switch" safty cover to open it, switch 38-A on, leave safty cover open.
and next click and switch 38-B "Manually Trim Mode Switch" On to active manual trim scale input,
finally, trim it by your sitck`s trim wheel or button, or throttol`s trim wheel.
 
In Su-27 flight model, default aircraft status, the elevator auto trim controlled by FCS computing for simualting longitudinal axis of none stability on Su-27 , it also simulate the hyd-power to elevator control surface, it works depend on flight altitude and air speed.
 
so if you want to keep trim,but do not open 38-A and 38-B for override the FCS, your trim input will be override by FCS, trim wheel will be reset to 0.

And, when using UFCD to set current mach or airspeed to auto thrust control system, please switch 59-G  " Flight Director Mode Switch" to middle
pisition on 59.GCI/Flight Director Control Panel
 
Middle position: manually set current mach and altitude via UFCD.notice in default status aircraft loaded into flight, this position reset mach to min safety mach to auto thrust computing by FCS, in usual, about 0.2-0.3 mach, if you want to set a high much number via UFCD L1 Button, please switch to right or left position, then, switch back to middile position, this is avoid aircraft auto engaged a high mach to auto thrust system when flight loaded.
 
Left position: Auto feed current aircraft safety min airspeed/mach and altitude depend on aircraft weight configuration which computed by FCS logic.
Right position: select and feed desired mach and altitude from this 59. panel`s knobs, 2 knobs for select mach from 0.9 to 2.2 and select altitude from 4 to 17KM, rotate these knobs to select mach/altitude, override manually input/set from UFCD.

500km/h near 270 knots, 400km/h near 215 knots, I check the FCS logic, the logics compute trim scale in 2 way:
1,when in normal flight during airspeed about 300 knots,gear retracted, aircraft will auto trim to boost elevator scale, when aircraft speed up to 540 knots, aircraft auto trim will reset to 0.
this equals the FCS mode knob on Flight Positon. in this mode, aircraft in none-stabilize mode.
 
2, when gear down, aircraft in landing conditions, FCS has auto trim scale depend on aircraft weight and saftey min airspeed for landing, in this case, FCS working in Landing mode
this equals the FCS mode knob on Landing Positon.
 
based on these setting in control logic, we may simulate aircraft have different control features when it in different conditions.
So you can feel aircraft more stabilize when it in landing/take off, but less stabilize in normal flight. in normal flight, aircraft become more none stabilize during 300-540knots, when it reach mach number near 1 or over 1( equal IAS about 540-600 knots at sea level), aircraft nose may slight up because aerodynamic center move after.
 
We will improve the FCS when we make a new calculation formula in future upgrade, now we have J-11B`s flight control logic test on naval aircraft, it still need to pull stick to maintain level flight when aircraft about 150-170 knots.
 
So, when aircraft in low speed below 300 knots and in normal flight condition, it may be maitain stick pull to keep it level. or engage auto pilot to keep aircraft level.

Tips:Using Radar vector in FSX mission
J-11B`s radar can support FSX mission. if you have seen my movie intercept UFO on youtube, you may see the small UFO have target desginate symbol on HUD and radar echo symbol on FCR radar screen.
 
And the radar can show mission waypoint bearing,range. so you may follow the radar symbol fly to the waypoint.
 
These are usage steps
when on ground or take off.
1, switch on 50-E: "Fire Control Radar Power Switch"
2, switch on 35-F: "FCR Control Switch" or 35-G:"EOS/IRST/FLIR/Laser Designator Switch", active aircraft`s radar or EOS system
when in flight,
3, press related buttons on MFDs to bring out FCR or FLIR display page, Press CPLD button(Up 4th button) to auto mode, then, press FCR sub mode button (Up 1st button) to ACM or GMT mode.
4, the yellow target designate symbol indicate current point of interest( target or waypoint in mission).
5,when switch weapon master switch and select air-air or air-ground weapon, target designate box will appear and indicate target bearing, range and altitude on HUD.

Is there any chance this product will be compatible with VRS Tacpack in the future?

We plan to build clean models for future upgrade to carry VRS weapons when it`s sdk can support 3rd addon aircrafts.
It may be change weapon and radar logics in current gauge, but this gauge code from J-10 can be easy modify for update.
