GEP3D (Ground Environment Prepar3D) works in all versions of Prepar3d

If you are not affiliated with a professional group, corporation or military establishment and do not require multi-station or professional simulation support and are simply a hobby or student pilot, then the academic version is what you are looking for. The academic product works in all versions of Prepar3D regardless of the Prepar3D license in use. You can obtain the product here: http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=gexp3dworld  the price is defined on that web page.

Professional/Corporate and Military licenses are only for such establishments.
