Improved Flight Planning with full integration for SIDs and STARs.
 
OpusMSFS can now be activated before running the simulator so that the flight plan can be defined ready for use. Alternatively, define and load the OpusMSFS flight plan at any time before flight, for example, whilst in 'World Map' mode.
 
A default 'out of date' set of SID and STAR data (procedures) has been supplied in the form of a Proc.zip file, located in your x:\OpusMSFS\Navdata installation folder.
 
Preparing The Default SID/STAR Navdata
 
If you intend using the default supplied SID/STAR data then the supplied Proc.zip file must be extracted and its '.txt' file content stored in the \OpusMSFS\Navdata\Proc folder.
 
The In-Flight Map can now be displayed without the sim active and used to aid flight planning.
 
The SIDs and STARs buttons of the Station Monitor form can now be used to examine and select an appropriate SID or STAR for an airport. The SID and STAR selection is aided graphically by reviewing the departure/arrival route on the OpusMSFS Map. A selected SID or STAR can also be automatically copied into the OpusMSFS Flight Planning form.
 
The OpusMSFS Flight Planning and NavData dialog has also been reorganised to allow SIDs and STARs to be selected and reviewed on the Map. Once selected the relevant portion of the SID or STAR can be cut and pasted into the current flight plan.
 
Flight plans constructed within the OpusMSFS Flight Planning form can easily be imported into the MSFS simulator using the following simple procedure.
 
Importing Your OpusMSFS Flight Plan into the MSFS Simulator
 
Step 1 - Display the simulator's 'World Map'.
 
The simulator's 'World Map' screen can be displayed by returning to the 'Main Menu' and then selecting the 'World Map' option.
 
Step 2 - Select the 'Load/Save' option or press the SPACE key.
Step 3 - Select the 'Load' option.
Step 4 - Select the OPUSMSFS.PLN flight plan file.
 
The OpusMSFS PLN file is automatically generated and copied into both the OpusMSFS install folder (e.g. C:\OpusMSFS\OPUSMSFS.PLN) and the simulator's 'LocalState' AppData folder.
 
Step 5 - Specify your start position (ramp or gate) unless you intend to start your flight on the runway.
Step 6 - You are now ready to start the flight using the simulator's 'Fly' and 'Ready To Fly' options.

Improved the integration of the OpusMSFS Flight Planning, SIDs, STARs, In-Flight Map, and Weather Downloads.
 
Wherever possible focus is now returned to the FS2020 simulator whilst using the OpusMSFS Flight Planning, SIDs and STARs dialogs.
 
Added 'Opus Folder' and 'Sim Folder' button options to the Flight Planning form. These buttons allow the most useful Import/Export PLN folders to be specified without needing to 'Browse' for the location. The 'Default' PLN folder option is x:\OpusMSFS\Plans, the 'Simulator' PLN folder option is the standard MSFS LocalState AppData folder for the user's installation.
 
Flight plan points that are suspected to be erroneous are now highlighted in red within the Flight Plan Route list. Added a 'Auto Correct Errors' button option above the route list to simplify the removal of all 'suspect' points from the flight plan.

Added support for User Specified LatLon Fixes with simplified creation using the OpusMSFS Map. User specified LatLon fixes are ideal for including 'points of interest' or geographic landmarks to a flight plan.
 
Double-clicking with the right mouse button anywhere on the OpusMSFS Map will now,
 
1. Generate a LatLon Fix of the form '<lat><lon>:USER'
2. Sound a short beep
3. Display a confirmation message on the map
4. Copy the generated fix to the Windows Clipboard
 
The generated LatLon fix is now ready to be pasted into a flight plan.
 
The saved LatLon fix is pasted in the usual manner either by right clicking within the flight plan text and selecting the 'Paste' option, or by positioning the text cursor within the flight plan and pressing 'Ctrl-V' to paste.
 
N.B. The inserted LatLon fix is automatically delimited with space characters. Once inserted, the 'USER' LatLon fix's name can be edited and replaced with any label up to eight (8) characters in length (e.g. STADIUM, BRIDGE or HENGE). After processing the flight plan is automatically converted to upper-case and correctly delimited with single space characters.

Added a 'Separate Lines' checkbox to the Flight Planning dialog. This option can be used to separate all flight plan points onto separate lines. Scroll bars have also been added to allow the display window to be scrolled.

User LatLon Fixes can now be labelled with names of up to twelve (12) characters in length. All User LatLon Fix names are now exported within the OPUSMSFS.PLN file so they will appear within the simulator's G1000/G3000 flight plan.

The 'Auto Import Current MSFS PLN Flight Plan' option can now be used to completely disable (ignore) all flight plan load events from the FS2020 simulator. Leave this option disabled if using OpusMSFS flight planning to create your flight plan thus preventing your flight plan from being overidden by the simulator.

Added the Official/Steam folder to the list of folders it searches to identify all the installed aircraft types. The server program will now searches each of the three Official/OneStore, Official/Steam, and Community sub-folders to identify all installed aircraft types.

Renamed the ButtKicker Profile Manager's 'Rename' option to 'Edit'. This button now allows full editing of both the profile's current assigned name and it's aircraft list. The assigned aircraft list can be examined/edited using the new profile Edit dialog.

The generated c:\OpusMSFS\FSIAIRCRAFT.log file now identifies each path searched and the total number of aircraft types identified in those paths. The head of the log file will now read something similar to the following,

Path  D:\FS2020\Community

Upgraded the software to handle up to 16 joystick input devices each with up to 32 button inputs. The joystick mappings are now saved in separate P3D4JOYSTICKS.DAT and P3D5JOYSTICKS.DAT files to differentiate between the two versions of the Prepar3D simulator.

Changed the way joysticks are renumbered and reassigned within the software.

Joysticks are now renumbered using the 'Remap Joystick Numbers' button within the Configuration dialog. Camera view, panning sequence, and shortcut command joysticks are reassigned using the 'Joysticks' button within the relevant Camera Management, Panning Sequences Management and Shortcut Commands dialogs.

To reassign camera views or panning sequences first select (highlight) the group of camera views or panning sequences you wish to reassign within the management dialog, then click on the 'Joysticks' button. Numeric boxes are primed and displayed allowing you to specify the 'From' and 'To' joystick numbers. The 'From' number is always primed with the first selected item's joystick number.

All listed items are changed when reassigning the joystick numbers for Shortcut Commands. It is not possible to select a subset of the shortcut commands to change.

Corrected problem with weather injection over very uneven terrain. Updated all Met Station data and elevations within the OpusFSI data files.

Upgraded the software to handle up to 16 joystick input devices each with up to 32 button inputs.

Changed the way joysticks are renumbered and reassigned within the software.

Joysticks are now renumbered using the 'Remap Joystick Numbers' button within the Configuration dialog. Camera view, panning sequence, and shortcut command joysticks are reassigned using the 'Joysticks' button within the relevant Camera Management, Panning Sequences Management and Shortcut Commands dialogs.

To reassign camera views or panning sequences first select (highlight) the group of camera views or panning sequences you wish to reassign within the management dialog, then click on the 'Joysticks' button. Corrected a problem communicating and coordinating the Landing Analysis data with the DHM and ButtKicker operating modes. Previous versions could remain in landing mode and not change over to taxiing mode.

The BK MODE message is displayed immediately upon a BK mode change and repeated every 180 seconds (3 minutes) within the FSIBKCTRL Spy window. The BK MODE message is always displayed when the FSIBKCTRL Spy window is opened.
