When I choose the Airbus Ext I always wait but it's never ready to take control, where the vertical speed always jump.
I use FSUIPC for all the axis as Direct to FSUIPC , only for the Airbus Ext is set to send to FS as normal -> AXIS and AXIS Throttle 1 Set same for two. I also use other aircraft like the PMDG 737 and it works well apart some time. So After reading your initial request I paste the log filr to let you check. Load FSX choose C172 at an airport open FSIP choose runway and 8NM and move. By the way thank's for the last update and foremost the landing score is really appreciated, I hope that in a future update, we can archive those result and create a chart for progress. Can you tell me what in real life are the vertical speed at touch down on average, after landed with 347 the report says it was Ok but I thought and read that it's bad for comfort? Can you share a table or explain in the manual the standard that come in the score. Hi Fabrizio,
In which mode is your autothrust when FSIPANEL is trimming your aircraft? Top left of your PFD, it should say: CLB. J-P |

Hi,
Thanks for the picture. It looks like your thrust lever is not at the correct position. Start with your Thrust levers to IDLE. When FSiPanel asks you to set CL (Climb thrust), move your thrust levers forward slowly until you get CLB as thrust mode on your PFD. This should fix the problem. Please let me know. Safe flights, J-P |

Sorry to report that doesn't work.
My lever are in idle and I didn't touch them. Thrust is controlled by FSIP I tried to move full and bring them to idle, FSIP bring TH to TOGA. |

If you look at this video:
http://youtu.be/aqux-RCzlSY Is the loading of your flight similar? You should see the message on the top bar, not anymore in the middle of the screen as on this video. if you look on the top left of the PFD, you see that autothrust is disconnected, no active mode. When asked to move the TL to climb, you can see that Autothrust engages in SPEED mode. In your case, even if the mode is TOGA LK, once the speed is above target speed, you should be able to reduce your thrust levers to CLIMB and autothrust should then revert to SPEED MODE. J-P |

Aerosoft Airbus seems to have problems with some joystick and thrust levers.
If you Google "Airbus X throttle problem", you will find a lot of information, this is probably the problem we're having. If you position your airbus on ground with engines running, can you freely move your thrust levers to any positions? Do they stay at position or revert to IDLE? Cheers, J-P |

Some time a go I had correctly setup FSUIPC
to LUA Airbus THR1 instead AXIS Throttle 1 Set but something have change it.
This is why the lever didn't works correctly, the only difference with your video is that I don't get the LUA message. I had also to recreate a new profile for the airbus. What now don't work is, I can get TAKE SNAPSHOT or LOAD SNAPSHOT they are all grayed (not available) Is it possible to have a button in FSIP that even if the aircraft is not perfectly configured we can get control of it. Tank's PS can you tell me more on this request: The landing score is really appreciated, I hope that in a future update, we can archive those result and create a chart for progress. Can you tell me what in real life are the vertical speed at touch down on average, after landed with 347 the report says it was Ok but I thought and read that it's bad for comfort? Hi,
Happy to hear that your autothrust problem is solved. Concerning the Airbus and Snapshot mode, it is not compatible. Please check the compatibility table below from user manual and website. ![]() Concerning the landing report: Thanks for your input concerning the archive, I will try to implement it so that pilots can track their progression. Concerning the touchdown rate of descent: There isn't really any table, just some rules of thumbs. < 300' per minute, Normal landing 300-600' per minute, positive landing, nothing wrong >600' per minute, hard landing, inspection required before next flight. I grade the landing based on my own experience and based on the above rule, your landing with 347 is a correct landing, nothing wrong with it. For example, it is much more important to land within the touchdown zone, even with a 500' per minute ROD than making a long landing. Landing in the touchdown zone is your main duty, if on top of that you do a kiss landing, this is only a BONUS. Wish you safe flights, J-P |
