Is there a way to install an HSI into the Carenado 114 Commander?
Thanks
Tom

A lot of it depends on the Commander 3D model geometry as to how well you can implement a gauge into it.  If you have a gauge that is a 1:1 swap (same basic size, etc as existing), then yes.  If not 1:1, then the end result may not be quite perfect.

Some addons are very receptive to gauge swaps because their base geometry is very generic, others with their fancy knobs and lighting schemes make them less so.

Thank you for your reply! When i load the panel cfg into FS panel design the only windows that will open are the radio stack and the gps. I can't find the main panel to try an do a swap.

Open up the panel.cfg file with Notepad and look for the Vcockpit section(s).

If the main gauges are not listed, they cannot be replaced.

Many newer airplanes have fully modeled gauges that are part of the 3d model and cannot be changed by the user.
