    Posted: May-05-2014 at 4:48pm
My FSiPanel Installation never worked for me.
I tried everything including reinstall of FSiPanel with no luck.
I have a standalone (single PC) configuration.
Installed Aircraft is a PMDG 737-800 NGX with WL in FSX.
I removed all assigned SLEW modes.
All axes are controlled via FSUIPC.
There is no movement in FSX when I switch to slew mode.
FSiPanel is not able to correctly place my plane to a fix. It moves the plane, but never stops adjusting and trimming.
I also tried to load a default Cessna and start FSiPanel from there, unfortunately this does not change anything. The only function I'm able to use is the placement for Takeoff.
I was reading all previous Topics and followed the suggested ways to fix similar problems, but now I simply have no clue what to do next...
Thanks for your help!
regards Gert

Hi Gert,

Please confirm that UAC is turned off.
Best,

sorry for the delay...
Yes UAC is turned off, at least the way it is explained on the Windows Pages on how to disable UAC in Win7. In the User Account Control Settings, UAC is set to the 'Never notify' position.
I hope this is correct...

Thanks for confirming that! I'm certain J-P will be along with a response.
Best,

Hi Gert,

Sorry for the delay, I'm abroad and don't have a permanent internet access for another 5 days.

Could you please try an approach in LFML, RWY 14L, 8NM
Let FSiPanel trim the aircraft for 30 seconds and if unable, close it.

Send me then the following files to support at fsipanel.com

log.txt
config.txt

I will then have a look at these files to start the investigation.

Best regards,

J-P

Hi Gert, are you sure not to touch anything during the FSiPanel control? No controls no keys?
And, do you have some particular control system, such as a throttle, MCP or something other?
In addition, your joystick and/or trim control are well centered? You can check this enabling slew mode in FSX (Y key) and checking if the aircraft is perfectly steady when parked.

Regards

Mauro

Hi Mauro,
yes absolutely. As I stated in my first post, I removed all assigned SLEW modes.
All axes are controlled via FSUIPC.
There is no movement in FSX when I switch to slew mode.
I use a PFC Yoke, Saitek Rudder, Trim Wheel and Thrust Levers.
Nothing is touched during FSiPanel control.

Regards
Gert

Hi Support Team,
I received mail from J.P. that solved my problem.
The following procedure helped:
Go to setup, aircraft, select your 737.
Hit DEL key on your keyboard. (This will delete your 737)
Launch FSX, create a flight with the PMDG737 that you would like to create aircraft on ground.
In FSIPANEL,  create a new 737.

Try an approach, if the process is successful,  your speed window should read Vapp,  around 135kts.

Please mark the thread as solved.
Thanks for your support !

Regards,
Gert

Ok, good to know, maybe your previous aircraft situation was bugged in some way!  ;-)
Ciao!
