Now that we have been told that RealAir will not release a GTN 750 integration option for the B60 Piston Duke V2, we will have to live with a GNS 530, or a shoehorned GTN 750 in the panel.
If you have the GNS 530 installed, copy the panel folder with the GNS 530, and call it panel.GTN In this folder, edit the panel.cfg file with Notepad, as follows: [Window01] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=937,887 ident=14401 position=8 window_size= 0.340, 0.580 zorder=99 gauge00=F1GTN!GTN750, 0,0,937,887,UNIT1.POP [VCockpit01] ... //gauge19=rxpGNS!GNS530, 1, 660, 504, 364 gauge19=F1GTN!GTN750VC, 92,632,324,343,UNIT1 ... and lastly, designate a paint in the aircraft.cfg file: Example: [fltsim.2] title=RealAir Beech Duke V2 S5CEA sim=RealAir_Duke model= panel=GTN sound= texture=S5CEA kb_checklists=RASDuke_check kb_reference=RASDuke_ref atc_id=S5CEA ui_typerole="Twin Engine Prop" ui_createdby="RealAir" ui_manufacturer=Beechcraft ui_type=Duke B60 ui_variation=S5-CEA GTN ![]() |

Thanks Bert but is there a solution for those who don't have the Reality XP GNS 530?

You can trick the RealAir config app into creating the GNS530 panel by adding a little dummy text file to your Gauges folder and calling it rxpgns.dll.
Then use the config app and select the RXP GNS530 option. Do not start the airplane, but make the modifications as listed above. You should then have a GTN version that you can fly. BTW, shift+2 should popup the GTN 750 window for access to all the buttons. |

Bert, I'm using FSX-SE if that makes any difference. I'll have another go later. Andy L

You need to have a panel.gtn folder and within it, a panel.cfg file.
In the aircraft.cfg file, you need to have at least one version with panel=GTN. Then, it should work. Alternately, you can edit the panel.cfg file in the panel folder, but then you no longer have the original version available. |

Thanks again Bert. All is good now, after I read your instructions properly and copied and renamed the panel folder rather than the panel file!

Hi,
Sorry to drag up an old post but a couple of questions.... The screenshot above doesn't have the 750GTN in the panel? Am I missing something? Does this solution not put the GTN in the VC? In any case.... I am struggling with the creation of the "dummy text file". I have placed a file with the name rxpgns.dll in the gauges folder but the config app still doesn't allow me to select the RXP530 option. Please help?

The screenshot actually does show the GTN screen in a GNS frame.
![]() Personally I do not like that "hybrid" solution and am now using an RXP GPS500 in the Piston Duke, using P3DV4. |
