Hi !

I intend  to swap original gauges for RXP..
But are there any High Def gauges for engine and electrics out there similar to
RXP ones ?
I'm looking to replace Carenado 182 and FSX C172 SP's ...

RXP actually ships an undocumented Manifold Pressure gauge as part of the FLN package..   rxpFLN!Manifold

Here it is in the Carenado 182Q - not sure it is an improvement over the original though..

I have nothing but random lock ups, "FS Panel Studio has stopped working" errors and frequent memory read / write errors prior to crashing whenever I try to use FSPS and RealityXP gauges together. No matter what versions of FSPS or RealityXP gauges I've used over the years, they simply refuse to play nice with each other for some as yet unfathomable reason.
I frequently had to save every time I added an RXP gauge or performed some action that would likely require the RXP gauge DLLs to be loaded (Copy, Paste, Delete etc) because after two or three of these actions, my FSPS session would throw one of the above error fits and end. I've since resorted to adding RealityXP gauges by editing the panel.cfg files manually these days rathher than endure the multiple loads and reloads of FSPS to finally get all the RXP gauges I want added to my panel.
 
FSPS is fine and dandy with most other gauges but the RealityXP ones are likely causing all manner of havok in terms of memory addressing. If the FSPS and RealityXP authors are coding their products in C++, might I suggest they avoid C++ auto-ptr and raw pointers and look to moving over to the new shared_ptr and unique_ptr alternatives that ship in the latest service packs for Visual Studio as I have a sneaky suspicion the problems lie in the pointer / memory management realm.
