Hi, I have the Reality XP/GNS 430 installed in FSX. I have it configured in the config panel in the Real Air-Duke B60. When selecting the Duke B60 in the free flight menu, FSX crashes.
I had it up and running at one point and then I  uninstalled FSX and moved it to New drive. Now I can't seem to get it work. When I try using it with other aircraft I get a purple box.

Windows 7, 64bit.

A fatal error occured-

Files that help describe the problem:

  C:\Users\e\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\fsx.CFG.txt

  C:\Users\e\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\dxdiag.txt

  C:\Users\e\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\scenery.cfg

  C:\Users\e\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\fdr.dat

  C:\Users\e\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\dll.xml

  C:\Users\e\AppData\Local\Temp\WERBC8.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml

  C:\Users\e\AppData\Local\Temp\WER5D64.tmp.appcompat.txt

Hi

I allways have to add Right folder info to Windows Register, that makes GNS work stable.
Go to windows Regedit, then HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Appaths.

If appaths folder does not have G530SIM.exe info there add a new key, then edit (default) key, now add your GNS trainer folder location(example i have C:\Program Files\Garmin\GNS400W-500W Trainer\Trainer\G530SIM.exe) and add new Path key and include this info(C:\Program Files\Garmin\GNS400W-500W Trainer\Trainer\)

Also remember take Full control for C: and System folders. This GNS usually crashes when you don't have Full rights in C: or System folders.

This might be related to the bug introduced in 1.4.1 now solved:
