Good morning everybody,

I have just downloaded UT USA yesterday. So I discover the product.

I have a question:

While taxiing to the gates, I saw cars which have nothing to do with airport traffic crossed in front of the aircraft, furthermore there were no roads, only cars and trucks crossing over the taxiways.

I cannot verify the problem right now (no access to FSX).   But, make sure that you have installed the latest UTX USA patches installed.   KJFK is a popular airport.  So, any problems that may have occurred in the past should have been corrected by now.

Thanks, but before I do any mistake, I must install "Acceleration expansion pack" from Microsoft for FSX before installing the patches. I have 2 propositions for "Acceleration expansion pack"
one is 640 x 360 resolution .wmvfile 19MB
the other one is 320 x 180 resolution .wmvfile 5MB

Which one I have to download ?
For your information I have already in FSX "service pack 1 and 2"

Neither. Those files are Windows Media Video files and is not the Acceleration product itself (which you would have to purchase, or maybe you have it if you already bought FSX Gold).

For your information I have already in FSX "service pack 1 and 2"

Then you should have the most up-to-date files for KJFK as Acceleration did not make any changes in that area (it added 3 aircraft, new missions, modified scenery in a few areas related to the new missions but none of them are for the KJFK area).

But do I understand that I can download directly the UTX USA and Canada Patches to fix the problems of the cars crossing the taxiways ?
I saw you're located in Canada. I fly actually on "Canadian Virtual Airlines" and I enjoy a lot.
I'm Senior Captain. In reality, I've been to Quebec several times as Montreal is at 4h45mn from Guadeloupe (french island) by Airbus 320. Very nice country.
excuse me for mistakes as I am french speaking.

When I purchased UTX Canada 2 years ago I had the same problems but they have disappeared when I downloaded service pack 1 and 2 I think, I am not very sure.

Usually, cars that cross the taxiways happen when the GPS road data that we use has a major road going thru the airport, which should actually be classified as a tunnel (without traffic).    When these errors are reported, we fix them individually by manually editing the road data.   
 
If you install the patches and still see the traffic, let us know.    But, I doubt that any problems with JFK would have gone unnoticed over the years.

I have downloaded the version 1.2 and all is ok. No more cars through taxiways at KJFK.

Is that necessary now to download the next version 1.3 ?

It's your call.  If you want to be current, you should install it.
 
We have a new release that I have been trying to get out the door for the last month or so.    Some delays have come about trying to make it an all-inclusive patch (lots of testing necessary).  But, I HOPE that we can get it out ASAP.
