Or false positive? Anyone else getting AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic giving virus detection for a Trojan Horse?

Virus: TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen
Type: Trojan

Static file: No
Engine version: 7.03.00.32

Hi yallu,

A lot of the (free) AV packages have been giving false positives with the F1 Wrapper and its installer recently. Deactivate your AV package when running the Wrapper files, and if you continue to have problems you may have to actually uninstall it. This is certainly the case with AVG free and MS Defender.

Thank you. Here's what happened. I first made sure my AntiVir virus descriptions were updated by doing a manual update. After that, the problem still existed. So I posted this thread. Some 20-30 minutes after that, AntiVir started to do automated update on its own. After that, the problem disappeared. I wonder what's the difference between manual and automated update or was I really that unlucky with the updates :D.

FYI in case anyone else has the same problem.

Hello, I tried several times to bring my pc-12 download to run in fsx acc ... now I succeeded but I had to stop my antivir surviance. And when I start the antivir tool again -> the pc-12 has once again no instruments???

And as yallu said there is this Trojaner message!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (strange I can not load up the picture) anyway it is called: 'TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen' (is called as virus or unwished program ... fitted in this file c:\windows\stystem32\flt1chk4.dll.

I think this a very very disappointing situation. I payed for the software and then I can't run my antivir software while flying!!!!!!

Further more it is for sure not a solution just to uninstall the antivir software!!

The message went away after Antivir update as it was false positive. That's an Antivir problem, not Flight1's problem. :) Just update the Antivir virus descriptions and the problem will most likely disappear.
