Hello,
I do not succeed to use LPV approaches in Europe.
The real GNS530W seems to be compatible with EGNOS. Is the simulated one compatible too ?
- In the "SBAS Selection" menu: WAAS is ON
- Cycle is up to date
- I tried on several airport with existing LPV approaches
-> LPV never appears. I only have "LNAV"

Version is 1.4xxx.

Does somebody have an explanation ?

Can you give me an example of an airport / approach?

I have never tried a WAAS approach in Europe, but I could test it on my system and see..

Also what date is the cycle?

Assuming you are using FSX, the latest release for the RXP GNS is 1.6.

Hello
Cycle: 1304
Not FSX, but FS9
For example:
- Alderney EGJA (rwy 08 and rwy 26)
- Pau LFBP (rwy31)
- Brest LFRB (rwy 07L)

I tested in US airport (KTPA), it is working well.

I tried EGJA RNAV 08 as a test and only got an LNAV approach..

I rather suspect that the Garmin Trainer/database is to blame, rather than RXP..

I thought the WAAS portion only worked in North America anyway... could be wrong.

WAAS data is available for the US only.  RXP has never implemented EGNOS data and has implemented only a limited subset of WAAS data.  The 1.6 version has not changed that, and the current Garmin database does not support WAAS outside the US either.

"LNAV+V" used for NPA approaches is done with geometric glide path.
From where comes this geometric information, if not from EGNOS ?
(I sometimes have "LNAV+V" in Europe)
