Hello J-P,
Thanks for a great application. Awesome timesaver!
I know theres a similar problem reported, but there never looked to be an outcome of that?

Problem: When using the PMDG 737 to practice approaches, clicking Move A/C will hang P3D before the sim crashes to desktop.

If I try same scenario with different a/c, it's no problem and doesn't crash.
Doesn't matter what variant of the 737 I run, same thing.
Only recently purchased the plane, it's never been able to run
Can confirm I've run all the installers out of \REDIST
I've reinstalled the 737
I've reinstalled FSIPanel
Confirmed PMDG stuff is up to date via Ops Mgr
I have the 747 and not had this issue with that plane
Tested using a custom default flight and the OOTB one.
Doesn't make any difference if I use a Final or Vector approach, same problem.
Running registered FSUIPC

Hi Leo,

Thanks for the detailed report.
Do you have latest version of the PMDG 737 installed?
Any other add-ons like FS2crew?

Can you try the following:

- start P3D with the 737 on ground.
- save the scenario using P3D file menu.
- reload the scenario, is P3D crashing?

Cheers,

J-P

Cheers, J-P.

Yep, currently running the latest version per Version info page in the Ops centre.
No addons like FS2Crew, no. I've minimised the number of applications running to GSX, Chaseplane and Ultimate Traffic - I tried disabling Chaseplane but that didn't make any difference.

Trying out the scenario like you suggested worked fine - no crash at all.
For giggles - I tried to run FSIPanel after this as well, and it looks like I am getting a bit further. The Loading Terrain Data.. message pops up and hasn't crashed, and my parameters set in FSI Panel all look to be correct.

I'll have more of an investigation this evening (I'm in NZ and on holiday, so have some time to kill- yay! - to determine if this is a one off or is actually a workaround, unless this outcome points out something obvious to you as the fault?
Thanks, Leo
