flt1chk4.dll and flt1chk3.dll and Virus Scanners

It is not uncommon for virus scanners such as AVG or McAfee to reportflt1chk3.dll and flt1chk4.dll (and other Flight1 programs and DLL's) with a false positive.
These are NOT problems with the DLL's or applications, but likely problems with false-positives from your scanner. You need to either disable your virus scanner, or, set your scanner so it skips over these files. If your scanner does not allow you to set per-file exclusions, you may need to consider another scanner.
Here are some alternate DLL's that may help, as they are more recent, and may get around false-positives.
And of course, if you are in doubt, check with Flight1 if you get a false-positive and you want some confirmation about the file you are installing.
In most cases the following files would go in Windows\System32.
flt1chk3.dll - http://www.flight1software.com/files/flt1chk3.zip
flt1chk4.dll - http://www.flight1software.com/flt1chk4.zip
Here is an example of NOD32's exclude screen. If your virus scanner does not allow you enough control so that you can exclude files, you may want to consider another scanner. I know that is a strong statement, but there is no reason any virus scanner should not allow exclusions in our opinion.
