I just recently discovered the free d'load F1 View for FS9 - It is absolutely terrific ... wish I had it a lot sooner.

It greatly inhances the FS experience. I notice it doesn't work with FSX. This is just a request, that if it isn't too problematical, please consider creating a version for FSX.

Thanks!

Gunnar Daehling has posted his version of F1 View on AVSIM. Search for filename wheelcam_1_setup.zip in the FSX Utilities section for it.

I couldn't get it to work right when I tried. However, I probably didn't do something right since I just loaded it and played with it without reading the instructions thoroughly.

I agree and miss F1 View in FSX. It was a great utility in FS9.

F1 View is a utility that enables you to use a wheel-mouse to move yourself up/down/sideways/forwards/backwards in or around an aircraft. You can essentially walk through a cabin using it, assuming the aircraft has a virtual cabin like the ATR does. It doesn't work with FSX though. Just FS9. You can get it here at the ATR site.

All you need to do is to hold down the shift key and roll the wheel of your mouse! Therefore F1 view is not required.Tongue

To move around the cabin press 'shift+O'.Wink

^In spot view, however, you cannot zoom in on the aircraft without zooming in the terrain as well -thats what I still miss about F1 view, although I've gotten used to it for the most part.

I installed this a week ago and put it into my FS9/ Modules folder, but now I can't undock the instruments windows to put on monitor 2, or I cannot move the views even on monitor 1 after clicking them, ............maybe the program should be located OUTSIDE OF FS9???   If anyone has/had this problem B4, I would sure know how it got fixed!!...............Other question, I cut the F1.view dll. icon out of FS9, but still have the F1 installer icon in FS9, and that did not resolve the problem.................so what is the best way to uninstall the whole program???   B42L8< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" ="">
