Dear user of EZCA,

The developers’ team for EZdok Camera Addon is happy to introduce a new version - EZCA 2.6. This updater only!  Is free for users of EZCA version 2.0.

This version is supported only on х64 bit OS and completely supports the following simulators:

P3D V 4.1.xx
P3D V 4.0.xx
P3D V 3.0.xx
FSX-Steam edition
FSX-BOX (gold, Acc Pack)

Our product is being constantly upgraded, and 4 long-awaited functions have been introduced into this version.

1. Remapper is a technology that enables you to assign any camera sets to any planes. Now there is no more need to clone the same camera set for the same model of a plane, but of different colors or livery. Now you can assign the same camera set to different planes, and changes introduced into this camera set will be immediately visible for the other planes. Now it’s time to put our camera set storages in order.

2. Camera set import from EZCA 1.17 old version. Now you can import cameras, but the effects will not be imported as the effect processors of version 1.17 and of version 2.0 are different.

3. A new function - Active ZOOM – has been added. This function makes possible, by using the middle button of mouse and the mouse’s wheel, to zoom dashboards, adjust devices, enter codes into FMS by using the keyboard, and EzDok will block, if necessary, the keyboard in order to prevent false camera switches. Now the issue of conflict between EZCA keyboards and keyboard input for FPS devices in the virtual cockpit has been resolved due to Active ZOOM.
For FSX users - Active ZOOM will working only in a "simple" mode because FSX have technical limitations.

4. Complete save of all settings and your camera sets into one file. When you have to relocate EZCA to another machine or make a backup of you camera sets before you start experimenting with Remapper – you just have to create a backup file.

Below you will see a list of minor cosmetic modifications.

1. The sign of EZCA has been removed from the taskbar. Now the sign is only located in the  system tray.

2. The bug that used to increase mouse’s sensibility when no joysticks were connected to the system is now fixed.

3. General Settings window has been extended horizontally. This prevents vertical overlapping of settings window with monitor’s frame for low resolution monitors.

4. Now EZCA window can be fixed above the other windows for the period of manipulations with the middle button of mouse. Now adjusting of cameras has become more convenient. This function can be enabled in general Settings:

The policy of add-on development has been changed. Up from version 2.5 and on, 32-bit OS are no more supported.

The policy of notification of new beta-versions has been changed.

We have refused to implement automatic updates through Internet as many users have experienced failures within updating process due to excessive activity of Win10 Defender. When a new version is available to download, EZCA will send you a message with notification. When you press Yes in a pop-up message, your browser will open a page of this forum with a new version to be downloaded and description of its new functions. In the future all updates will be implemented manually via installator. Thus, from now on it is possible to accumulate the most stable versions of EZCA, available to download, in the same forum’s thread.

You can cancel new versions automatic check by removing this checkbox on the page of General settings.

Though, at any moment you can check for a new version manually.

Below, I’ll introduce my recommendations before you start using this version.

Probably, you will try to use Remapper upon installation of new version. Create a backup of your camera sets first.
In order to do this open Tools - Backup EZCA to one file.

Having done that, you will be able to experiment safely with Remapper.
In order to restore all settings and camera sets open Tools - Restore from file.
Be careful with this function!!!! The entire folder DB2 with relocated content of Backup will be deleted, with no option to restore it.

Please watch our video lesson to have a closer look at how Remapper works.

This video covers the basics of Active ZOOM functioning.

Do not forget to launch this configure tool  upon completion of this update installation!!!!

For those who want to buy EZCA 2
If for some reasons you are not satisfied with our product quality you will have 30 days for refund. This, you can try our product without any risks of losing money. In fact you have 30 days to try our product without losing money.

To install version 2.6 you will have to buy 2.0 on Flight1.com, install all the components and immediately update them to version 2.6.

Upon installation we would also recommend you to add again all the files.exe from the folder
С:\ProgramFiles86\EZCA2 into the list of antivirus exceptions.

If you see this message:

You will have to do the following steps:
1.Open C:\Program Files86\EZCA2\  folder. Click the file EZCA.exe with the right button of mouse, uncheck the sign marked with red.

If it doesn’t help, in the same folder open file properties for resh.exe and check this sign:

This thread is used only for notifications of new versions of EZCA.

Version 2.6.0.26

1.For this version we have introduced some changes in ZOOM working algorithm. Some users have noticed that during panning, when the middle button of mouse was being pressed, the
simulator's window focus was lost.
If you don't use Active ZOOM function, just disable the green button of ActiveZOOM, and the siulator's window will stop losing the focus.

2.External add-ons scanning through the file add-on.xml has also been introduced.

3. The bug linked to the notification "The settings have been edited" at the process of EZCA closing has been improved.
Now, when you press "Yes", EZ closes properly.

4. Cosmetic changes.

Some of new functions may not meet your expectations. Please share your ideas with us on our forum.

Version 2.6.0.27

Hello dear user EZCA.
In this version we did:

1. The "Handle is invalid " bug is fixed.
If this error occurs, open the  properties of resh.exe placed in
C: \ ProgramFiles86 \ EZCA2 \  then set the check box "Run as administrator" like here:

2. Helicopters did not appear on the Remapper list. - Fixed.

3.If you click the Get Effects button in the effects processor, the effects are not downloaded from the server - fixed.

4. Added mode for disabling EZCA keyboard input when the TAB key is pressed.
This mode is intended for sharing with the PMDG mode "Direct-type text to CDU".
The mode is activated in general Settings.

Now, if you press and hold TAB, the EZCA keyboard  will be disabled.

I remind you, if you found bugs - let us know about this through our technical support website
