Here's what I'm seeing for downtown Erie, PA. Looks like few buildings and many flat areas. I have UTX and GEX installed, along with FSG landclass and mesh. Any help?

Try removing the residential streets layer.   FSX will not put autogen on roads.  And, the FSX autogen buildings associated with those large footprints are going to be pretty large (thus sitting on the roads).

This is one of the reasons why most people turn off minor/residential roads.  the other reason is that the roads conflict with the underlying urban landclass textures.

The new technology that we used in Alaska, demonstrates what we hope to provide in our new Ultimate Cityscapes X product lines.   In Alaska, we don't use building autogen (only vegetation autogen).  Instead of building autogen in Alaska, houses and other buildings follow the roads.   This type of scenery may not be everyone's cup of tea.  But, those that want visual accuracy will be very interested in that type of product.

This technology was also shown in the Project X demo discussed here early last year (it was a precursor to Ultimate Alaska X).

Two items of note:

1) This will be a new product, not an update to the current UTX lines.  UTX will always be a terrain-based product using autogen.   The new product line will be strict;y objects.

2) We don't have a release date yet regarding any Ultimate Cityscapes X product.    As soon as the current batch of UTX patches are complete, we will switch gears to Ultimate Cityscapes.

Thanks - I did disable the residential streets and increased autogen to very dense. Looks a lot better now.
