I was wondering if someone from Flight1 could let us know in a short post what the situation is with regard to this product, as we have waited for over two years in the Aeroworx forum without any news on the progress of this product they were supposedly developing.

Information would be most appreciated, if possible.

First, go here; http://www.carenado.com/ecommerce/links.php3 and download and use the FS9 to FSX patch.

Or, since it's a file location problem you can use Windows Explorer to navigate to your FSX install. Within FSX you'll now find an folder named \Aircraft and if you expand that you'll probably find the Q sitting there all by it's self. You can cut and paste the Carenado 182Q folder to the proper location within FSX, which looks like this; F:\Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes The true location depends upon your installation.

Doing either of the above should allow you to use the Q in FSX. The first will give you thumbnails, the second won't. But thumbnails for Carenado planes are available at the usual sites.
